I am involved with a "start-up" that has completed their SEC filing some months ago and that will be listed on the OTC/BB shortly. As all our operations are in Europe I am actively investigating if and how we can "transfer" our listing from the OTC/BB to AIM....

It looks like a good exchange for us and other companies in our position.

Having been through an IPO on AIM as a former CEO of start-up pharma company Alltracel Pharmaceuticals Plc, and having worn out shoe leather in NYC and beyond in my quest for funds in the Dot.Com boom, it was a life saver.

For Irish and UK based VC's this has been a very successful means to access liquidity and there is continued growth in foreign corporations for this route to secondary funding and indeed IPO exit strategies.

It makes successful little (less than $100m) companies into bigger ones, rather than die in the wilderness. It has my vote for what I did and for what I have yet to do.

This is a very important topic for all. The M&A market is good now, but the number of mid-tier buyers that often spark efforts are drying up. Check out the national research exchange, which is working on a part of the solution. www.researchexchange.com
